Interior Designer at Glen & Company, NYC                    Nov 2014 - April 2015

 

Edison Ballroom, NYC - Based on the client needs, worked on conceptual & schematic design, design development and space planning. Participated in client meetings and also worked on all the presentation drawings - including inspiration images, rendered plans, elevations and views. Worked on mood boards, material pallet (FF& E) and during this process met many vendors & reps. Worked also on the  plumbing and lighting schedules. 
NYLO Hotel, Nyack - Conceptual design, furniture selection and material specification for restaurants and public spaces in the hotel. Categorizing different room types in the hotel and furniture planning for specific room type. Correction and revisions of construction drawings.
Four Seasons Hotel, Fort Lauderdale- Submitted RFP, which included presentation of design concept and space planning of semi-indoor restaurant-bar located around the swimming pool area. 

 

 

Designer at Rockwell Group, NYC                                        Jun 2014 - Oct 2014

 

Starwood Retail Mall (renovation of 7 malls aross USA) - Performed site analysis and survey, created schematic, conceptual and presentation drawings. Also selected material pallete and produced finish boards for custom furniture.

Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame exhibit, Wisconsin - Created specifications for the fit-out and exhibit display; corrected and updated construction drawings.

Hudson Yards, NYC- Created schematic plans for residential interiors.

 

 

Freelance Architect & Designer, Bangalore                      Jun 2009 - Dec 2015

Worked on project end to end- Concepts, design, presentation & construction drawings, material specification and monitoring execution of the project on site.

Sai Gallerium, Bangalore- 40,000 sqft of prime retail space for store-in-store concepts based display of premium Italian bath and modular kitchens. Worked on multiple exhibit designs for various brands including top Italian & German brands such as Scavolini, Grohe, Vado, Duravit, Cerdomus, Sicis, Graniti Fiandre to name a few over a span of 4 years.

Palm Drive, Bangalore - Architecture & interiors of 6000 sqft large 4-bed contemporary   bungalow designed for a US based client.

 

Junior Architect at Khosla Associates, Bangalore          Jan 2008 - Jun 2009 Headed by Sandeep Khosla, the firm is India’s 10 most innovative architectural and interior design practices. His work has been published in many famous publications including FRAME.

Within 15 years of practice, the firm has won 13 National Design awards for projects related to retail, hospitality, residences and institutional buildings.

 

Key projects worked on:

Hospitality: Shiro( Lounge ), LAP(Lounge), Huvafen Fushi @ Maldives (Spa Resort)         Residential: Cliff house, Reddy House, C Plan house                                    

Institutional: Arts & Media center @ Doon School

 

As part of 3 member team, responsibilities on projects included:

•    Key contributor for conceptualization of architecture and design followed by drafting of client presentations.

•    Produced tender drawings for bidding projects. Developed all detailed construction drawings for contractor.

•    Prepared specification documents for FF&E for hospitality and high end residential     projects and coordinated with respective manufacturers or reps.

•    Managed the project through site visits during execution, coordination with contractors and  consultants and assisted the Principal in client meetings.
